For commercial radon mitigation and commercial VOC mitigation, RSS services over sixteen different states.

Radon mitigation is the process of redirecting the majority of the radon gas which is entering the property, to the outside of the property, at the proper EPA suggested height and above the gutter line of the structure. It is important to note that this process redirects the radon before it enters the structure, rather than after it is already in the home or commercial building.

The preferred method of performing this radon mitigation process is called sub-slab depressurization. Depending on the project and the setup of the property, this process is done by coring into the foundation of the structure, sealing proper PVC pipe to this entrance, and then using a special, radon mitigation fan to pull the gas from beneath the foundation and finally dispersing this gas outside of the structure.

Some homes have a submersible sump pump and a drainage system beneath the home while other, older homes do not. This effects the labor of the radon mitigation process as well as some extra supplies or products potentially needed, and in turn may increase the cost of radon mitigation overall. Homes with dirt or gravel crawlspaces require additional labor and expensive supplies as well, and these factors can also increase the overall cost of radon mitigation substantially.
