Zagreb, Croatia – June 15, 2018 /MarketersMedia/ —
Beyond Seen Screen (BSS), a Zagreb-based start-up is launching their innovative content identification app with numerous other features. Users of this app would get to scan a media content and get any information related to it within seconds.
“Beyond Seen Screen is more than just a content scanning and searching app. With this, users will receive all information related to it thereby making them engage and interact with it. The information that users get will be dependent on the advertisers and the content producers”, said the official spokesperson of this company.
Beyond Seen Screen just signed a pilot project with Discovery Film&Video for their two TV channels where they will be integrating a video library of 500 documentaries and movies which are being distributed to more than 20 million potential viewers in Croatia, Slovenia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and Albania.
According to the company, a user will get to scan any form of media with the BSS app be it movie, music, documentary, commercial, and VR/AR/mixed reality. After scanning, the contents that a user receives are termed as Elements by the company.
When scanning a movie, a user can get Elements like the actor’s name, a particular song, the watch that an actor is wearing, where can this watch be found, etc. Likewise, with music, users will get links from where they can buy the album or tickets to an upcoming concert by the artist.
Not only movies, but users will also receive Elements for documentaries like behind the scenes footage or similar recommendations.
Individuals after viewing a commercial have to search for the product online and then purchase it manually. With BSS, they can scan a commercial and directly purchase a product shown in it from this app.
BSS says that users can get redirected to various VR/AR app, games, or videos after scanning a relevant video.
The primary objective of this company is to give new opportunities to content owners for engaging more vividly with their users through Elements. The spokesperson explains with an example what a chef of a cooking show can provide as Elements to his/her viewers.
Users after scanning a TV show can get details of the chef’s recipes cooked in an episode, links to promoted cookware, a book written by the chef, address of the chef’s restaurants with options to make table reservations, bloopers made while filming an episode, and more.
Users of the BSS app, i.e., the customers will get to view Elements history and sharing options. “Users can share a specific Element with another person who has never seen the original content. Thus, this app can create more marketing exposure for content creators and expand their brand value”, adds the company spokesperson.
As of now, all transactions done with BSS will be recorded in a public blockchain. BSS is also offering an ICO for their BSSX tokens that will be used as the means of payment for the platform use.
The total token supply of BSSX is 348 million, and this company will only accept Ethereum (ETH) against it. The soft cap set by BSS for this ICO is 2,000 ETH while the hard cap, 12,000 ETH. The crowd sale start and end date of Beyond Seen Screen ICO are yet to be announced.
