Black Helm Entertainment Launches “Be A Hero” Campaign On Their Team Star Angel Site

November 02, 2015 – – Black Helm Entertainment, publishers of the Star Angel pentalogy, a series of five sci-fi books written for a young adult and all-ages audience, today announced the launch of a betterment campaign on their Team Star Angel site. The site is focused on information and extras for the pentalogy, but will now also feature links and encouragement for the Star AngelBe A Hero” campaign.

“This isn’t a campaign in the sense of having an official membership or any precise targets,” says Philip Jepsen, CEO and spokesman for Black Helm. “The Mission statement is: To encourage an environment of prosperity through intention, starting at home and spreading a positive force into the world. This upholds the themes of the books, and our hope is that this positive intention spreads. As it says on the site’s mission page, your actions will speak to your support of the mission. It’s as simple as that.”

Star Angel is the tale of a teenage girl catapulted from a normal life on Earth to an alien planet in the midst of war. From that violent beginning she goes on to overcome a series of challenges and obstacles, each more difficult and seemingly insurmountable than the last, building her own strength and courage along the way. Recognition of the lessons and values that can be learned from this brought about the idea for a campaign to inspire readers to practice those values and go for that courage in their own lives.

According to Mr. Jepsen, “As it says on the site, the series is entertainment, pure and simple. These books were never written to be part of a campaign to inspire us to be better people. However, we’ve been working closely with David G McDaniel, author of the series, and as he’s reached the completion of the books it became apparent that might be the effect. The main character goes through and incredible transformation, and by the end she’s holding up some important ideals that should be clear to anyone who reads the stories.”

New pages have been added to the Team Star Angel site, to describe the Mission and to lay out the concept behind the Be A Hero campaign. On the Be A Hero page can also be found links to suggested organizations that readers can become involved with to make it better, such as Save The Children, Amnesty International and others. Interested parties can visit the Team Star Angel site, or can contact Mr. Jepsen for more info.
