Currently, NTT Communications runs more than 130 data centers worldwide and is connected by its own network.

The Partnership

The new range of cloud products will see the amalgamation of the core strengths of the three companies. NTT Communications will bring in its strength of local data centers along with knowledge of the local market. Dell EMC Japan will bring its storage system technologies and corporate sales capabilities.

NTT Communications will then launch the newly developed multitenant cloud platforms within large Japanese enterprises. In the future, the Companies plan to expand their portfolio to be available across the globe. The newly developed cloud portfolio will use Virtustream’s patented technology – MicroVM resource management (µVM), for pay-as-you-go billing.
