Brooklyn Teen Partially Blinded By Alleged E-Cigarette Explosion, E-Cig Explosion Lawsuit Case Filed

June 13, 2016 – – LipsigLawyers.com reports on a recent e-cigarette explosion that occurred in New York when a teen was able to access the devices at a mall kiosk. According to a PIX 11 report, a 14-year-old boy approached and began checking out the products with help from a worker at Plaza Vapes, a kiosk in the Kings Plaza Mall. The teen reported that the man connected a device to a store battery, and passed it to him. While he was holding the vaporizer, he says, it exploded in front of him. The harm from the device was significant as the teen became permanently blind in his left eye, and sustained damage to his hand which may also be permanent.

Local and state laws prohibit the sale of tobacco products to minors.
