Although there are several levels of driving courses available, as seen on the school website ( http://abovealldriving.ca/ ), the winter conditions course is particularly appropriate as the weather changes and the road conditions are more challenging. Elements such as stopping on slick surfaces, reacting to a skid and other safety tips are part of the comprehensive course. The winter driving course is good for beginners, as well as for those who are experienced in ice and snow conditions.
Courses can be scheduled a the student’s convenience since the school is open seven days per week. Both male and female instructors are available. Those who need more information about the courses and instruction procedures can come to the office location. Both theory and practical experience are included in the menu of driving courses which are available.
Courses in addition to the winter driving conditions instruction include beginners instruction, courses for new immigrants, professional upgrades, preparation for a road test, parking practice and courses for senior citizens. Military students receive special consideration for courses and rates.
According to a spokesperson for the school, a Defensive Driving Course can be scheduled for students who have received traffic tickets and are losing their license. Successful completion of the course returns three demerit points. The DDC is also appropriate for those who are planning to go for a Taxi License. DDC courses are available in regular and Premium levels.
