Help us celebrate International Table Top Day (ITTD) at the Game Table Cafe, Saturday, April 28th. International Tabletop Day is a worldwide celebration of tabletop gaming for all the members of an incredible community. As a member of this community, the Game Table Cafe, a Restaurant & Gaming Center business, located in the Hampden Center, Mechanicsburg, PA, we provide a place that people can take a deep relaxing breath, enjoy friends and family and have a wonderful meal while celebrating ITTD with participants from around the world.

The first International TableTop Day was founded by Boyan Radakovich, and held on March 30, 2013, while being live-streamed on the Geek & Sundry channels on YouTube. Games included Takenoko, Ticket to Ride, 7 Wonders, Smash Up, and Star Trek Catan. It aired in two segments hosted by Felicia Day and Wil Wheaton, with an extra wrap-up segment uploaded later. Events were held in 64 countries. In its fifth year, the day-long event is filled with gaming events, charity fundraising, and collaborative online entertainment.

The Game Table Cafe’s Founder, Thomas Keegan says “We’re delighted to be celebrating International Table Top Day. It’s an opportunity for our customers to gather in a casual setting, participate in a truly global event and enjoy the fun and excitement of the day.” The Game Table Cafe is a local fan favorite restaurant in Mechanicsburg, Camp Hill and the Harrisburg area. Menu favorites are unique menu offerings and all named after popular boardgames like The Catan sandwich, or the Ticket to Ride. They are also home to “The Best Cold Brew” on the West Shore and their other fresh roasted coffee offerings are popular with the locals.”

The Game Table Cafe currently consists of 9 employees and has big plans for the upcoming year. One of their core objectives is to create a local place where people come together over community and good food.
