Century Montessori Private School Announces Ivana Djuric as New Education Director, Principal
Century Montessori Private School has hired a new education director and principal for their high school who will bring a holistic and passionate approach to student education.

Ivana Djuric, who had previously founded the Toronto-area Master Academy in 2010, will be starting in July.

It was Djuric’s drive and commitment that saw Master Academy grow from its initial five students in 2010 to the over 100 it currently teaches. Among the academy’s many post-secondary successes is an 11th grade student who has already earned a scholarship to the University of Waterloo’s computer sciences program.
In addition to serving as the Century Montessori Private School high school’s principal, Ivana will also be taking on duties as the education director. “It means she will be taking on the program creation and implementation duties, like the Reach Ahead program for grades 7 and 8, or the Reach Out program that has students volunteering in the Richmond Hill community,” Pereira elaborates. “She will also be in charge of researching and designing further education methods for future growth.”
For her part, Djuric is taking to the new role with gusto and enthusiasm. “I’ve always been interested and passionate about education, opportunities, and personal growth,” she says. “If I can begin educating students from their roots, I can help them to become the best versions of themselves and help them create positive change in the world.”
