Chang-Castillo and Associates Announces the Hosting of a Training Event in Buenos Aires, Argentina

Chang-Castillo and Associates is proud to announce that they are hosting a training event in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The training event is called  “Spanish into English Refresher Course” and is co-sponsored by Calliope Interpreters. This is specifically designed for all professional and practicing conference interpreters.

Chang-Castillo and Associates considers this training event as valuable to interpreters interested in the upgrade of English C to English B. The course is also intended for English A interpreters interested in adding Spanish as their passive language.

Among the topics included in the course are simultaneous techniques related to interpretation from English to Spanish; consecutive techniques related to interpretation from English to Spanish; consecutive note-taking strategies and techniques.

The actual scheduled date for the 2016 session starts from the 1^st to 5^th of August 2016. Group A starts from eight in the morning to twelve in the afternoon. Group B also starts from two in the afternoon to six in the evening. However, the course is just limited to thirty students divided into 2 groups of fifteen.

The venue is at Auditorio del Colegio de Traductores Publicos de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. Av Corrientes 1824 (CABA) Argentina. ADICA, TAALS and AIIC members of the Spanish Into English Refresher Course are required to pay $650. Non-members are also required to pay $700 and $25 for the application’s processing fee.
