Chevrolet Dealer In Torrington, CT To Sponsor Chemical Free Party

April 27, 2017 – – Sullivan’s Northwest Hills Chevrolet GMC Buick Cadillac, part of the Sullivan Automotive family, has announced that they are proud to be a sponsor for Canton High School’s 2017 Senior All Night Chemical Free Party. The car dealer will specifically be sponsoring the “Cash Cube” that is provided at the after graduation event.

Sean Sullivan, President of the Chevrolet dealer serving Terryville, CT and surrounding communities says, “This is a great event for seniors after graduation and we are very proud to be taking part in it. It’s a night filled with fun for graduates as well as good food and safety for the one final night that all of these seniors are together in one place.”

The substance free graduation party is an event that is becoming very popular throughout the United States. Many school systems have implemented similar “lock-ins” where seniors spend the night together chaperoned by teachers and parents and indulge in games, contests, and laughter. The Chevrolet dealer states that they are more than happy to sponsor the Cash Cube, which is a game during the event where seniors can win cash, which they can use after graduation.

“It’s fun but more importantly, it’s safe,” says the president of the Chevrolet dealer in CT. “Too many graduates have been lost over the years due to car crashes and other accidents simply because they decided to drink and drive or do something else dangerous to celebrate their graduation. This event keeps the seniors safe and gives them a wonderful night to remember.”

The Substance Free Graduation Party committee states that overall they are looking to raise about $20,000 for this year’s event, which is held right after graduation. The committee states that in past years they have seen 100 percent participation by graduation seniors.
