Chino Hills Employment Lawyer Settles Invasion of Privacy/Sexual Harassment Case for $6,500,000

November 16, 2017 – – Chino Hills, CA: Chino Hills Employment Lawyers, Daren H. Lipinsky, Gregory Rizio (Of Counsel), and Danielle Al-Chalati of Lipinsky Law and Fernando D. Vargas of Law Offices of Fernando Vargas successfully settled an Invasion of Privacy/Sexual Harassment case for $6,500,000.

In the case, Mary M., et al. v. XYZ Corporation, et al., multiple plaintiffs alleged invasion of privacy and sexual harassment claims against their employer arising from workplace surveillance. Defendants and Plaintiffs disputed whether or not the offending employee was a supervisor or co-worker, was acting within the course and scope of employment, and whether or not XYZ Corporation authorized or ratified the actions of the offending employee. After extensive discovery, including over fifty depositions, the parties agreed to enter into mediation. After two consecutive days of mediation, the case settled for a total of $6,500,000.
