The Wesley Ridge Retirement Community, operated by Methodist Elder Care began its five-phase facility with the Columbus Ohio assisted living units in 1998. The living quarters associated with the facility include private homes with several floor plans, both one-bedroom, and two-bedroom designs. Various apartment sizes, ranging from studios to 2-bedroom units are tastefully decorated and designed for comfort and aesthetic appeal. Assisted living arrangements are largely private pay, but there are a limited number of Medicaid Waiver beds. Because the umbrella agency has carefully planned the campus and facility to grow and change with the needs of the times, the assisted living units are an attractive option for senior citizens.
