Cornwall cottage holiday company Duchy Holidays has added new, quality property listings to its property portfolio in time for the peak booking period in early January.

Duchy Holidays, a Cornwall cottage holidays company, has signed up several new property listings to their portfolio in time for the New Year booking rush for the UK’s most popular holiday destination.

According to Duchy Holidays, all its new holiday homes are fully inspected and exceed the guidelines for rental properties. The the holiday booking service’s latest listings which are available for booking include The Beach Cave, a six-sleeper cottage with a location by the beach in the village centre, parking permit and a courtyard garden. This pet friendly property offers Wi-Fi and other facilities from £400 per week.
Another beachside property to go up is Wheal Ramoth 9, which is a pet-friendly and Wi-Fi enabled two-bedroom apartment on the ground floor with modern amenities and is situated by the beach.
Cornwall’s biggest draw is its 300-mile-long coastline with high cliffs, beaches, dunes, creeks, forests, historic harbours and activities such as surfing. While the longstanding popularity of Cornish beachside properties with British holidaymakers is not surprising, remote rural properties
have also been receiving more bookings in recent years.
Newly available for booking with the cottage holidays company is The Granary, which is a traditional one-bedroom cottage in a secluded rural location, with log burner and large shared gardens. This property is located along with only two other properties in a remote Cornish valley, including The Designer’s Loft, which is also a new listing with Duchy Holidays. Holidaymakers can now also book short season farm properties like Park Hoskyn Farm, a one-bedroom timber lodge, which is on offer from £550 per week. Such properties are traditionally preferred by walkers and holidaymakers who seek tranquillity in the Cornish countryside.
Cornwall is also a popular destination for caravan holidays, evidenced by its many caravan parks. The Blue is a new three-bedroom, six-sleeper caravan listing on a five-star holiday park in Rejerrah. The listing starts from £375 per week and comes with all the facilities that the park offers, including a skate park, swimming pool and entertainment.
The rise in signups among Cornwall property owners is evidence of the growing popularity of Cornwall as a domestic holiday destination. Domestic holidays have seen a 70 percent rise in recent years, and Cornwall, Devon and Yorkshire are the most popular UK destinations among adult British vacationers.
The BBC-produced Poldark television series set in 18th century Cornwall has further helped to bring the county alive in the popular imagination.
