“What was once a novel idea is now a sensible convenience,” said Dr. H.L Greenberg, a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. He then went on to report that the procedure is most popular among women aged 19-36, and men aged 18-45.

In the United States alone, the beauty industry creates $17 billion worth of revenue and employed more than 375,000 people in more than 18,000 different businesses, according to market research firm IBISWorld.
