Coworking Space In East Dallas Launched by The Mix Coworking

More than just a coworking space, the Missional Wisdom Foundation, helps build businesses for churches. The foundation helps with utilizing the other (non-services) six days to bring revenue to churches.

The Mix Coworking and Rhonda Sweet are pleased to announce that the organization is helping churches take advantage of coworking space in East Dallas. The concept is made possible through a collaborative relationship between White Rock United Methodist Church, who host the space, and the Missional Wisdom Foundation, who incubates the space. More than just a coworking space, founded by a non-profit named Missional Wisdom Foundation, the foundation helps build businesses for churches. Churches are only used one day of the week. The foundation helps with utilizing the other six days to bring revenue to churches.

Located in the basement level of the historic White Rock United Methodist Church, The Mix features a wide-open coworking space, with plenty of smaller spaces to work with small groups or to be alone. There is also kitchen space for those whose creativity lies with cooking and baking.

According to the 2015 Harvard Business Review, there appears to be something special about coworking. As researchers who have, for years, studied how employees thrive, they were surprised to discover that people who belong to them report levels of thriving that approach an average of 6 on a 7-point scale. This is at least a point higher than the average for employees who do their jobs in regular offices, and something so unheard of that they had to look at the data again.
