Co-founders of the Marketplace Master Dealership Series Conference and EXPO have worked with three independent used car dealers from the region to donate four vehicles to families that are victims of domestic violence in an effort to showcase the on-going charitable work automotive retailers do throughout the year.

A national automotive retail training and education event, the Marketplace Master Dealership Series, https://press.marketplacemaster.com, will be held Sept. 6-8, 2017, at the Hyatt Regency Dallas. The event will draw hundreds of dealers and sales and marketing staffers to the event, and scores of vendors will showcase their products and services to attendees during the event’s trade exposition.

This dealership training event will draw automotive retail professionals from across the country which is why co-founders, Mike Jackson and Beto Paredes, decided the national attention this event will receive presents the perfect opportunity to demonstrate the willingness of car dealers and their personnel to give back to the communities.

“Automotive retailers are among the most charitable business people in the country,” Jackson said. “There isn’t a community sports team, homeless shelter, or community service organization around that hasn’t at some point had a car dealer as a benefactor.”

The three dealers from the region include: Steve Grieg, owner of AutoMaxx, which has six locations, including three in Fort Worth, Texas, and one in Arlington; Scott Alan, owner of AutoLand, in Fort Worth, Texas; and Jeremy Williams, owner of Dallas Autos 4 Less in Fort Worth. Grieg has donated two vehicles.

Jackson and Paredes worked with Jim Malatich, CEO, and Beth Robinson, Director of Hope’s Door New Beginning Center to select the families in need.

“While we have the vehicles ready to donate, we will continue working to support the center in any way we can,” Paredes said. “Hope’s Door provides an invaluable service to the community by helping those in need. In fact, the Dallas Hyatt Regency, where our Marketplace Master Dealership Conference and EXPO will be held, has donated a free night’s stay at the hotel for the families so they can enjoy a day of peace and have some fun.”

The Marketplace Master event is designed to assist dealers and their personnel in improving their skills in the sales and marketing of new and used vehicle through training and education. Recently added to the three-day event is the Association of Auto Sales Professionals Certification Programs for both sales managers and associates. This training is designed not only to help these professionals market and sell more vehicles, it will train them in ethics and their responsibilities to their customers and consumers at large.

“Our industry is dedicated to helping people secure safe, reliable, and affordable transportation,” Jackson said. “We need to remind everyone — those in and outside our industry — that we do care, and that we live in the communities in which we work and want to give back.”
