July 05, 2016 – – The dates for the 2017 Biennial Educational Congress of the Alliance for Massage Therapy Education have been announced. The organization is encouraging everybody to mark the dates in their calendars. Additionally, exhibitors and sponsors are encouraged to register and to support this non-profit organization and the upcoming event. The event will take place in the final week of July 2017 in Tucson, Arizona. More details are available at http://www.afmte.org/save-date-2017-biennial-educational-congress-announced/.

Stephanie Beck from the Alliance for Massage Therapy Education says: “The theme for next year’s conference is ‘Elevating Standards of Excellence’, and I can’t begin to describe how excited I am about it. There will be pre- and post-conference events, keynote speakers, breakout sessions, and more. It will be a fantastic opportunity for those involved in bodywork and massage therapy education to come together and share their best practices. I really do want to encourage everybody to save the date and to support this important event as much as possible.”

The 2017 Educational Congress has a clear mission: “To foster dialogue, inquiry, and creative problem-solving between and among organizations and individuals involved in massage therapy and bodywork education. We will provide opportunities to become informed about critical issues affecting our health industry, gather information, enhance teaching skills, and network.”

They also have a clear intention, which is: “To gather a critical mass of educators and facilitate co-location of meeting space for various organizations to gather and collaborate. Organizations are encouraged to hold board meetings, offer content for Congress participants, report to the Congress on the current status of that organization, and receive public comment and feedback.”

Those interested in becoming exhibitors at the event, or who want to know those who have already booked, are encouraged to download the Exhibitor Prospectus, which lists all the relevant details. All exhibitors will be placed in the Exhibitor Hall, which is adjacent to where the breakout sessions will be held. Different sponsorship and exhibitor options are available, and people also have the choice to book as a keynote speaker. Details about the different packages, the places that remain available, and prices are all available in the prospectus.
