Dating App, The Grade, Hosts The Ultimate Summer Hamptons “VIP Experience” Promotion

Winners Receive a Luxury Weekend in the Hamptons, Including Helicopter Ride, Hotel Stay and More

NEW YORK, NY / ACCESSWIRE / July 20, 2015 / The Grade, an iPhone dating application released by Snap Interactive, Inc. (“SNAP” or the “Company”) (OTCQB: STVI), that is designed to create a high-quality dating experience by expelling “failing” users, is excited to announce the launch of a summer “VIP Experience” promotion. The promotion will award each of the male and female users who bring the most friends during the promotion period with a grade of “B” or higher to the app with an exclusive weekend trip for two to the Hamptons. The trip will include a helicopter ride from NYC to East Hampton, beachside hotel accommodations, dinner and a night out at an upscale restaurant and a limousine ride back to NYC.

SNAP’s CEO, Cliff Lerner, enthused, “The main premise of The Grade is to create a community of high quality singles, and we’ve seen The Grade’s concept resonate especially strongly with the Hamptons crowd. Offering a VIP Experience to our Hamptons audience is a natural fit. To make sure we don’t dilute our audience, we aren’t rewarding the users who can bring the most friends to the app, but rather the users who can bring the most friends with the highest grades. As a matter of fact, friends that don’t have a high grade won’t be counted at all.”

The Hamptons getaway prize will take place on the weekend of September 11-13th, 2015, beginning with a private helicopter ride for four (each winner and a friend of each winner) from Manhattan to East Hampton. Each winner will also receive a hotel room for two at a beachfront hotel for two nights, a complimentary dinner for two at an upscale restaurant and a limousine ride back to Manhattan on Sunday, September 13th. The two winners will be announced on Wednesday, September 2nd. Additional promotion details and rules can be found at: www.thegradedating.com/vip.

Mr. Lerner continued, “Essentially, we are bringing together two of the highest-quality and most popular influencers in the singles’scene. Whether or not this could turn into a love connection is unsure, but we can guarantee that they will have an exclusive VIP weekend to remember.”

Users can enter the promotion and view their rankings by downloading The Grade and going to the leaderboard entitled “Hamptons VIP Experience.” The deadline to enter the promotion is September 2nd, 2015. The Grade is currently free and available to download in the App Store on iTunes or by searching “The Grade Dating.” More information about The Grade can be found at: http://www.thegradedating.com.

About The Grade

The Grade is a female-friendly mobile dating application that holds users accountable for their behavior by using a proprietary algorithm that assigns letter grades to users ranging from “A+” to “F” based on profile quality, responsiveness, and message quality. Users with a grade of “D” or “F” receive a warning and instructions on how to improve their grade, while users who maintain an “F” grade are expelled. Expelled users have the ability to “appeal” the decision by providing compelling reasons why they should be allowed back; however, re-entry is not guaranteed. By expelling low-quality users who receive an “F” grade, The Grade aims to create a community of high-quality users who are desirable, articulate and responsive.

The core concept of The Grade, in bringing accountability to dating, was informed by market research that revealed a deep dissatisfaction amongst singles of current popular mobile dating offerings. A recurring theme, particularly from women using mobile apps, was that they were unhappy with the quantity of low-quality daters and the frequency of inappropriate, hostile, and sexually suggestive messages.
