DigitalRez Announces Update To RezExpert 9 Reservation System

July 27, 2016 – – DigitalRez has announced an update to the RezExpert 9 reservation system. The company recently released the update, which includes bug fixes and a number of new features to the already updated system.

Kevin Hall with DigitalRez says, “We’re happy to announce that the new updates are now in effect. Not only does this clear up a few bugs in the system, but the new interface makes it so much easier and more efficient for users.”

Hall states that among the updates is a grid layout change. He says that the grid button has been removed and is now located within each panel of the system. A new dashboard button redirects users to their dashboard page for an overview that includes charts and updated statistics. Panel buttons have also been updated.

“The new navigation menu is going to provide much easier and faster access for all reservation system areas,” Hall adds. He says that users will be provided with a list of links that are available to them within the system so that they can quickly access them as needed.

The menu options displayed will depend on each employee’s security role and individual level. Front desk operators for example will not be able to access setup, so that tab will not be displayed for that particular employee. Hall says that this helps to streamline management of the system overall, and provides much more efficient operation from individual employees.

Other changes to the system include date range additions for billing policy products and a new ability to set billing cycle start dates. Users can set specific dates for cycle limits to begin, and the specific cycle limit on each account will indicate how many times the policy can be run before it stops billing. Hall says that everything that has been changed and updated is all to help the system run more smoothly and to help users work more efficiently.

RezExpert is a reservation and property management system that is used by a number of businesses including campgrounds, marinas, and hotels, among others.
