Direct Mail Marketing Company Vice President Expanding His Role

The vice president of Borns Group, a marketing company in South Dakota, now has an expanded role in the company. He will now manage all business locations, including Watertown and Aberdeen, South Dakota and Sales Division in Elk River Minnesota, Jackson MI, and Plymouth MA.

Lee Borns, vice president of Borns Group, a direct mail solutions business, will be taking on an expanded role in the company. Lee will now oversee all Borns Group & Borns Group/VDM entities, including actively managing all business locations, associated operations, and personnel.

Borns Group is a family owned business. Located in South Dakota, the company has production facilities in both Watertown and Aberdeen. They also have sales offices in both locations, as well as in Elk River Minnesota, Jackson Michigan, and Plymouth Massachusetts.

Established by Virgil Borns in 1991 as a professional mailing & marketing company, Borns Group has since evolved from a local commercial printer company, to a provider of complete online and offline marketing solutions for both local and national clients.

Lee has worked for the company since 1991, when, as a sophomore in high school, he began doing mail routes for the company. He worked for the family business on and off through college and then joined full-time in 2002

In 2008 Lee became Vice President, and is now taking on the additional role of General Manager. Regarding his new role in the company, Lee states “It is exciting, and I look forward to new ways of servicing our clients more efficiently and effectively.”

He also went on to say that “Our company is somewhat unique in that it can fulfill the role of multiple vendors, including marketing consultant, graphic designer, commercial printer, and mailing provider. In addition, we also specializes in nonprofit direct mail fundraising, and statement printing for Utilities and other industries.”

Lee’s new duties will include that of General Manager for production, sales, and customer service for Borns Group, as well as for the company’s nonprofit division “Borns Group/VDM” with an emphasis on zero defect in production, so as to service clients while adhering to the highest possible standards.
