Disaster Response in Panama City FL Company Acknowledges Fire Prevention Week 2017

October 09, 2017 – – Panama City FL – Disaster Response Team of Panama City FL is excited to acknowledge Fire Prevention Week 2017. D.R.T. is passionate that their community stays safe and is relieved of any physical, emotional, and mental trauma associated with any Disaster Response in Panama City Fl.

“Fire prevention is very important to us. If our community is well prepared for disasters it can mitigate potential damage and make it easier to carry out these plans in a time of stress,” stated D.R.T. owner Mark Broersma.

D.R.T. Disaster Response Team provides services for water mitigation, mold remediation, construction, fire restoration in Panama City Fl and other services. They believe it is important to enforce fire safety so that fires can be prevented. Alternatively, an event of a disaster property and personal goods can be salvaged with minimal damage.

While the number of home fire deaths has been cut roughly in half since 1980, the rate of deaths per 1,000 reported home fires was actually 10% higher than in 1980.

Mark Broersma reiterates “Having a plan in place is imperative. Reinforcing safety practices and procedures in place for a household can greatly reduce the damage of a home in certain disasters – that’s why events like Fire Prevention Week are so important to us. We have seen a lot of damage to properties that could have been avoided by having a plan in place.”

Recognizing Fire Prevention Week is just another part of D.R.T. Disaster Relief Team of Panama City Florida’s continuing effort to service their community in times of need. Fire Prevention Week will begin on Sunday October 8th and end on Saturday October 14th.
