Elizabeth City State University Rolls Out Campus-Wide Password Management in Less Than One Week

August 3, 2017. Naples, FL – Fischer International Identity announced today that Elizabeth City State University, a constituent institution of The University of North Carolina, deployed campus-wide password management in only four business days following the initial scoping call.

“Fischer could accommodate our Password Reset Portal requirement in less than a week. They understood that as a university we were up against a rigorous deadline, thus took the matter into their hands,” said Eric V. Zarghami, Deputy CIO at ECSU. “The result was nothing less than perfect, and we couldn’t be happier.”

The solution, hosted in Fischer’s Fischer’s Identity as a Service® Cloud, enables ECSU to automatically comply with password policies, synchronize passwords across Microsoft Active Directory and Office 365 accounts, reduce help desk load and expense, and provide superior service levels to constituents through convenient self-service password reset.

“This is another example of why organizations need to rethink their identity management and governance choices,” said Dan Dagnall, Fischer’s Chief Operating Officer. “Our unique technology and proven deployment methodology have established the new status quo for time-to-value in our industry.”
