Emerald Bay Announces Revocation of Cease Trade Orders

CALGARY, AB / ACCESSWIRE / April 24, 2017 / Emerald Bay Energy Inc. (TSX Venture: EBY) (the “Corporation” or “Emerald Bay”) is pleased to announce that the Alberta Securities Commission (“ASC”) has revoked the cease trade order that they had previously issued against the Corporation. The Corporation has been informed that the revocation order issued by the ASC will be automatically reciprocated in the other Canadian jurisdictions where similar cease trade orders were issued.

On April 20, 2017, the ASC revoked the cease trade order it had issued on May 5, 2016 for the Corporation’s failure to file the Corporation’s annual audited financial statements, annual management’s discussion and analysis, and certification of annual filings for the year ended December 31, 2015.

In light of the cease trade revocations, the Corporation has applied to the TSX Venture Exchange for the trading suspension of the common shares of Emerald Bay to be lifted and shares re-posted for trading.
