On Saturday, June 11th, the employees, customers, and good friends of several Express Employment Professionals workplaces plan to collaborate at their neighborhood food banks and kitchens to help in the battle versus hunger – an extensive concern that continues to influence countless individuals all over the world.

Brand It Blue Day offers Express workplaces an opportunity to recognize the communities that have sustained them throughout the years by giving back. This is a day for each Express location to give support for an important issue and to aid the community.

Express St. Petersburg will hold a food drive at its workplace, situated at 4326 Park Boulevard, Suite E, where people can donate non-perishable food products until June 11th. On that day, volunteers will collect the food and take it to the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry, as well as volunteer on site.

“It is especially difficult for children who depend on the meals they receive at school during the summertime,” said Diane Frazer, St. Petersburg Express Owner. “Donations we receive will help provide meals for children in our community in need of assistance.”

In 2015, over 225 Express Employment Professionals workplaces took part in Brand It Blue Day. In the previous four years, along with those offices, 1,500 volunteers have contributed their time and resources, and supplied greater than 156,000 dishes to neighborhood food banks and non-profits.
