Eternal Camping, a Live-Action Character-Based Comedy Thriller, is Officially Announced

The New Film By Carlos Uribe Tells

As a spokesperson for the movie noted, Eternal Camping is a live-action, character-based story that tells the tale of a group of camping scouts. When they learn that society has been destroyed, the campers realize that they will be unable to return home.

In order for the campers to move on with their lives, they will have to let go of the past—along with confront their own demons.

“The scout leader faces not only the pressure of having to lead these scouts and protect them but he also has to face his own personal loss. Will the pressure get to him and doom the scouts?” the spokesperson asked, adding that while Eternal Camping is not a zombie film, zombies are what destroyed society and are the reason the campers cannot return home.

In order to help pay for casting the film and hiring the crew, along with a number of other costs related to post-production, Uribe recently launched a fundraiser on Indiegogo. There, he hopes to raise $50,000 through crowdfunding and help bring Eternal Camping from the pre-production stage to the screen.

“I’ve gotten great feedback from the script; people really like these characters and they think that the script is very funny and tense,” Uribe noted, adding that at this point, all of the writing is completed, he has created his film budget and started on the pre-production work.

“I’m completely dedicated to making this work because this is a story that I believe in. With your donation, I will have the resources needed to build a team to make this project a reality.”
