Event Design Courses Event Announced By IWED
October 05, 2018 – – The Institute of Wedding and Event Design (IWED), a premiere provider of Wedding and Event Design courses, announced that they are holding a five-day Accredited Event Design course at their main campus in Deerfield Beach, FL.
The Accredited Event Design (AED) course is a five-day, hands-on, educational event at their Florida Campus located at 98 SE 7th St., Deerfield Beach, FL 33441 and will run from October 8 to 12, 2018, from 9 am to 6 pm daily. According to IWED, those who are seeking to learn about, develop, or expand their career in Event Design will learn the skills and techniques necessary to execute stunning, memorable events and how to successfully start an Event Design business of their own. Participants will receive comprehensive instruction from a team of experts with decades of experience, and have the unique opportunity to network, interact with, and learn from some of the best local designers in the industry.
Class sizes are intentionally kept small to accommodate 1-on-1 support and guidance from the instructors and to assure the most valuable learning experience for the student.
As the signature program of The Institute of Wedding and Event Design, the AED course provides up to date design and style instruction, demonstrated skills, and more. The first four days of the program are geared specifically toward hands-on instructions, and the building and development of design skills and techniques. The fifth day would be the “business day” when students are provided with specific and practical information about operating an event business from instructors that currently and successfully run their own event design business.
Students will also be supplied with samples of some documents and contracts necessary for business operation. Students are expected to graduate with the essential skills, knowledge and confidence it would take to launch and operate their own event design business or to grow their existing one. Upon completion of a course, students maintain access for one year to educational materials and student resources via a link on the IWED website. Graduates also receive an Accredited Event Designer seal to acknowledge their education and achievement. Industry standards suggest that certification from IWED may boost the students’ marketing efforts, making them top competitors in their area.
“This program is carefully designed to provide the most up to date market information and industry strategies to provide our graduates with all of the tools they need to launch new careers,” said Nicole Blackwelder from IWED. “Anyone who attends this event will have gained the expertise, knowledge, and inspiration to drive forward and build the career of their dreams.”
Photos on the IWED Facebook Page illustrate the real-life, hands-on experience of students and showcase their newly-acquired design skills. Regular posts provide information about new design trends, student experiences, and links to other valuable content. It also serves as a platform for group engagement for current students as well as former students and graduates. A blog post on the IWED website provides more information about the classes offered for event design.
Student comments reflect a positive learning atmosphere and valuable substance during the five-day event, noting that the course had changed the landscape of their business. Students with experience, and those new to the event and design industry, remarked in reviews that they would “highly recommend to those who want to perfect their craft and expand their business,” as well as “anyone who wants to begin a career in this industry.”
