Next Actor Productions Launches Fundraiser to Bring ‘6 Rounds of Chloe’ to the Big Screen

As a spokesperson for Next Actor Productions noted, 6 Rounds of Chloe is a coming-of-age drama that follows a teenager’s journey as she faces the fact that her somewhat-estranged father has been diagnosed with metastasizing cancer. When her father, Jack, loses all hope he turns to Chloe as a confidante and inspiration.

6 Rounds of Chloe will star Olivia Mayron-Mort, who is the daughter of Emmy-winning Director and Actor Mel Mayron and Producer-Director Cindy Mort. Olivia is already promoting the upcoming film through interviews and tweets.

Even though Chloe had avoiding visiting with Jack in the past, she becomes his biggest cheerleader and partner-in-crime as he fights a morbid battle between life and death.

“Together they witness God’s miracles as they find new therapies and a glimmer of hope that the illness may be beaten,” the spokesperson said, adding that this story, which is inspired by true events, navigates the emotional turbulence and fear that children face when learning of a parent’s diagnosis, and how faith can be used to overcome great obstacles.

“This film narrates the agony and the turbulence of children whose parents are diagnosed with cancer, and the fear that starts creeping in from the time they are told that their parent’s days are numbered.”

In order to help pay for the extensive production costs associated with making 6 Rounds of Chloe, Next Actor Productions recently launched a fundraiser on Indiegogo. They hope to raise $500,000 through crowdfunding to pay for the flight, hotel cost and payments of the cast and crew, equipment rental, production budget, post-production cost including sound design, color grading, editing, music and marketing.
