The Falls Church and Arlington, VA dental health team visited the San Salvador mission clinic as part of its medical mission. Over the course of 3½ days, Dr. Robert A. Morabito and his team treated more than 330 patients and delivered approximately $230,000 in dental healthcare to students and children in the region. The trip delivered critical dental health and hygiene services and education to children whose parents cannot afford even the most minimal dental healthcare.

Established in 2008 by the Iglesia Gran Comisión in collaboration with La Evangelica University, the Children Development Center GCLA is a child support centre serving a poverty-stricken community near the Ilamatepec volcano, also known as the Santa Ana volcano. The centre was established and continues to be supported by medical teams from around the world.

Dr. Robert A. Morabito and his team of dental professionals also built and painted 11 beds for children who have no beds of their own, provided spiritual instruction through a Vacation Bible School, and painted a butterfly mural as part of Project Smile 2018. The trip also included a teaching assignment at a dental school in San Salvador where students were taught several critical dental procedures and instructed through a topical study of sleep apnea.
