Family Dentist Donates $10 To St. Jude Research Hospital For Every Kid’s Dental Check-up

July 29, 2015 – – 1st Family Dental, a dental practice with offices in Chicago, Elgin, Roselle, Arlington Heights, Aurora, and La Grange Park Illinois, as well as Tulsa Oklahoma, is donating $10 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for every child that comes in for their regular back-to-school dental check-up and cleaning. This initiative is applicable in all of its 11 family dental locations as part of their commitment to supporting the life-saving mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

1st Family Dental would like to continue this program not just for this year, but in the years to come. Vicky Khawaja, a representative of the office said, “We’re so excited to be part of the life-saving mission of St. Jude by donating the much needed funds to help children and families. Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to 80 percent since it opened more than 50 years ago.”

The St. Jude Donation Program started on July 20 and will run until August 31, 2015. As part of their goal to donate $50,000 to the kids of St. Jude, the people at 1st Family Dental are ready to find a time to accommodate those with busy schedules through their adjusted evening and weekend hours. With the simple act of bringing one’s child to the dental clinic, the $10 donation is a message of hope and inspiration to the kids at St. Jude through the cute smile-gram, and as a thank you, the donor will receive a bracelet. These smile-grams will then be sent to the kids at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, so the child’s message of hope will go directly into the hands and heart of a kid who needs it.
