Fans Take to Begging Online for Bruce Springsteen Tickets
In an effort to get Bruce Springsteen tickets, some fans have taken to begging for them online. But an industry insider says it’s really not necessary.

It’s no secret that fans are doing all they can to score Bruce Springsteen tickets for his new River tour with the E Street Band. Social media has been ablaze with fans clamouring for the tickets and talking about which strategies they’ll use for being the first in virtual line to buy them before they’re sold out.
But one fan is taking it even further. @annycelsi, a Twitter user, tweeted “Springsteen tix go on sale in 5 minutes. Two computers running and fingers crossed! Anybody who scores tickets, I’m ready to be your date!”
“I understand why fans are so excited to see The Boss,” says a spokesman from ConcretBank, an online third party ticket vendor. “But the truth is, as of right now, we have plenty of tickets and we don’t charge the ridiculous prices some other third party ticket sellers do.”
And he’s right. A quick look at the site shows Bruce Springsteen tickets starting under $100.
Springsteen fueled the fire recently when he announced an addition 14 tour dates, plus a makeup date for Madison Square Garden which had to be cancelled because of the winter storm Jonas. The new dates run from March 19, which takes place at the Los Angeles Memorial Arena, and end at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on April 25th.
Another reason fans are so excited about the River tour is that it wasn’t supposed to happen. Springsteen released The Ties That Bind: The River Collection with only one promotional show. That show was so well received, Springsteen decided they should do a couple more and after that Springsteen said “Then it turns into, ‘Maybe we shold do a small series of shows, basically one-nighters, with maybe a little bit around the country.’”
“It expanded a little bit from that,” says the spokesman. Bruce Springteen and the E Street Band now have shows book all across the country as well as in Lisbon, Portugal, which so far, is the only scheduled European date.
Keep in mind,” said the spokesman that other places will begin to increase their ticket prices as inventory goes down and demand goes up. And we only have a limited supply of affordable tickets so if you want to see the show, I recommend not putting it off.”
