Texas student Lindsay Ross was selected to receive a $500 scholarship and a custom recognition award for her teacher.

Ross is currently a Junior attending L.D. Bell High School (Hurst, TX). She hopes to attend Baylor in the fall of 2019, and major in International Studies while in Pre-Law.

Lindsay received a five hundred-dollar ($500) scholarship along with a custom recognition award to present to her violin teacher, Ashlie Skidmore.

Four runners up also received a custom recognition award to present to their special person.

About the Scholarship

The FineAwards.com Custom Award and Recognition Scholarship is a competitive award for college students interested in recognizing someone from their own life that has inspired them.

The winner receives a five hundred-dollar ($500) scholarship (for their use) along with a custom recognition award to present to this special person.

Scholarship applicants use their phone to create a video they feel embodies their message and post it on YouTube.

The scholarship is awarded bi-annually on June 30th and December 31st of each year. The application deadline is June 15th and December 15th of each year.
