First Aid Shoppe Reports Emergency Trauma Kit Now Available Through Channel Partner PrimeEffects

April 07, 2016 – – Today Anna Loehwing, COO and spokesperson for First Aid Shoppe, providers of high grade first aid and survival gear for professionals and the general public, announced a partnership for distribution with PrimeEffects, a consumer products company specializing in tailored products in the fields of health and safety. Ms. Loehwing announced that their ResQue 1st Emergency Trauma Kit will be available through PrimeEffects. The kit is an intended-use kit targeted at serious injuries where severe bleeding is involved. It is a compact kit, with active clotting agents, latex free nitrile gloves, gauze, tape and antiseptic wipes.

“We’ve been partnered with Amazon for distribution,” says Ms. Loehwing, “and of course out own outlets, but we’ve had a relationship with PrimeEffects, and this seemed to be the exact sort of product to include in their catalog.”

The clotting agent included in the kit is an Advanced Clotting Sponge, a clotting sponge that uses a hemostatic (clotting) agent that is in use by global emergency response units. This agent has been proven the best at stopping severe bleeding and reducing the impact of battlefield hemorrhaging. In the event of severe bleeding the clotting sponge is applied directly to the wound to promote fast clotting. This is an intended-use kit, meant specifically for this use. It is not a general purpose first aid kit. The kit is compact and designed to be kept on hand with a more general use kit. It comes in a durable nylon zipper bag, and is 8 inches by 1 inch by 5.5 inches and weighs 5 ounces.
