First Aid Shoppe Reports New Nylon Bag For Emergency Kit Adds Durability

March 31, 2016 – – First Aid Shoppe today announced that an updated nylon bag for their ResQue1st Trauma & Auto Emergency First Aid Kit adds durability and portability to the kit. The kit is a high-trauma severe-injury bleeding emergency first aid kit that includes two key items for stopping severe blood loss: the SWAT (Stretch Wrap And Tuck) quick-use tourniquet, for stoppage of arterial (femoral and humeral) bleeding; and the Advanced Clotting Sponge, for promoting fast clotting at the site of the wound. The new kit bag is made of sturdy nylon with an easy-open no-snag zipper, with a sturdy plastic hook. The dimensions make it easy to store, at 7.5 inches by 3 inches by 5 inches in size. Total kit weight is less than one pound (10 ounces).

The SWAT-Tourniquet fits high into either the armpit or groin area and is easy and quick to apply. The Clotting Sponge is applied directly to the site of the wound and begins to clot the injury at the moment of application.
