Fort Wayne, Indiana-based Steppin Up Physical Therapy, an orthopedic, pain management and rehab specialist has launched its fourth practice on Coldswater Road in the Watersong Office Park. Headed by clinical director Minda Lemmon, an honors graduate from Chicago Medical School with 19 years’ experience and specializes in sports and orthopedics, the new clinic provides one-on-one treatment and individualized treatment plans in a customer care, team environment.

Launched on the 28th of August 2017, the new clinic offers specialized services for sports and orthopedic physical therapy, vestibular and concussion rehab, bike physical therapy, and coaching runners. Other services include Kinesio tapping, orthotic fabrication and pilates rehab, as well as instrumental assisted soft tissue mobilization.

The clinical director of the new Steppin Up Physical Therapy, Minda Lemmon, is passionate about physical therapy, improving a patients’ well-being, and providing exceptional patient care and customer service. “The best gift I can give to someone is the ability to return to what they love doing, injury free,” claims Minda.

Minda will bring her expertise and help provide many exciting services to the new Steppin Up office, as she is a certified Kinesio Tapping practitioner, performs static and dynamic cupping, and has certifications in Graston/ ASTYM techniques. She is also a certified RRCA running coach and running technique specialist (Pose Method).

Joining Minda at the clinic is Jenny Gearhart, who is the administrative assistant and therapy technician. Jenny greets patients, schedules appointments, and assists with exercises. Jenny enjoys working with people, and helping them to improve their physical fitness.

Owner Jason Hazelett, who founded the first Steppin Up Physical Therapy clinic 13 years ago in Fort Wayne with just one employee, holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and a board certification as an orthopedic specialist, will also treat and evaluate patients at the new clinic. Jason is fluent in Spanish and has intentionally developed his clinics to effectively serve the Spanish-speaking community in their own language.

Today there are four Steppin Up clinics, and Jason employs 29 staff, but Jason’s goal remains the same – to continually improve upon current business functions and ensure that compassion and hospitality remain key tenants at each office.
