Fortiline Launches HDPE Fusion Group

CONCORD, NC / ACCESSWIRE / August 31, 2015 / Fortiline Waterworks (Fortiline), one of the largest waterworks distributors in the United States, announced today the creation of an HDPE Fusion Group within the company to provide customers with complete solutions for their high density polyethylene (HDPE) needs.

“The demand for HDPE pipe in water and wastewater appli­cations has grown significantly, thanks to its long service life, low leakage rate and fast, cost-efficient installation,” said Mike Swedick, Fortiline President and COO. “HDPE pipe is a growing product segment within the industry and with many of our customers. Leading Fortiline’s HDPE Fusion Group will be Dennis Barnette, HDPE Market Manager. Barnette has more than 25 years of experience working with HDPE and strong knowledge of HDPE fusion techniques, fusion equipment and training. He will manage the Group on a day-to-day basis and report to Chris Antos, Fortiline’s Director of Strategic Development.

Working with Barnette will be Sean Sullivan, HDPE Support Specialist. Sullivan has more than 13 years of HDPE experience and has a strong operational background. He will manage the operational aspects of the Group, including sourcing, inventory, logistics and more.
