As a company spokesperson noted, Freddy Potcake is a new survival and strategy game that follows the adventures of a mutant dog named Freddy Potcake whose family was kidnapped when he was a young pup. On a mission to find his family and discover what happened, Freddy must face foes, manage his weight challenges, and stay alive.

“Freddy Potcake was created by Kimberly Hanna in collaboration with 2D artist and animator, Alex Mass, and game development company, Noor Games,” the spokesperson said, adding that 20/SCOPE, a multimedia company that focuses on game apps, music and designs, also created and designed the game.

“Game players will keep Freddy alive by collecting seeds and managing his weight. They will be able to collect tokens, plant farms, and help Freddy defends himself from those trying to sabotage his progress.”

Freddy’s appearance will change with the seasons, giving him unpredictable powers used to ward off enemies. The game will be available as a mobile app for iOS and Android smartphones and will be free to play.

In order to help pay for the development expenses associated with making Freddy Potcake 1.0, the professional and talented team behind the game recently launched a fundraiser on Kickstarter. There, they hope to raise $115,000 through crowdfunding.

People who donate to the fundraiser will receive a variety of items, including seeing their names in the game credits, a digital soundtrack of the game, a Potcake keychain with gold or silver plating and/or a Potcake t-shirt.

“This game was inspired by the classic game of Super Mario, and I hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed creating it,” noted the spokesperson.

“This game is rated for all ages, so if you feel as though you’re too grown to play games, get it for your kids, I’m sure they will love it.”
