Georgia Teacher Is Latest In Group Of Plaintiffs Filing Talcum Powder Lawsuit

November 15, 2016 – – TheProductLawyers.com reports on a recent lawsuit filed concerning talcum powder products that was filed by a Georgia teacher.

Reports indicate that a public school teacher from Georgia has recently filed a lawsuit against Johnson & Johnson in regard to the alleged dangers associated with their talcum powder products. The reports state that the group of plaintiffs filed the suit because of Johnson & Johnson’s attempt to suppress the truth about the product’s link to cancer. The complaint was filed in the Middle District of Georgia.

This group of plaintiffs is not the first to press these charges. Many other plaintiffs have come forward claiming that after they used Johnson & Johnson’s talcum powder for feminine hygiene purposes, they have developed ovarian cancer. These plaintiffs allege that there is a direct link to the products and the deadly disease and that the company should be held accountable for fraud and other charges.

Johnson & Johnson has vehemently denied these claims, stating that there is no link between their products and cancer. Although the company has held this position, three juries so far have found otherwise. The results of the three trials have ended with Johnson & Johnson being made to pay millions in damages to plaintiffs making similar claims. Johnson & Johnson is seeking appeals in all three cases.
