The Newly Announced Project by The Unicorn Scouts Hopes to Bring More Fun and Magic to the World

LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / April 12, 2017 / Elliotte Bowerman, founder of The Unicorn Scouts, is pleased to announce the upcoming launch of a new program that will allow people to Get Whimsy in the Mail including a unicorn horn, cape and silly quests.

As Bowerman noted, for two decades she forgot that she was a unicorn. Although she had a career as a successful tech executive, she never had a lot of fun and was merely surviving, not thriving.

When Liliana, Bowerman’s 7-year-old daughter, reminded her mom that she needed to enjoy life more and play and have fun, Bowerman decided to do what she could to make her life better. She started The Unicorn Scouts and has dramatically raised her levels of joy while also connecting more deeply to Liliana and the rest of the world.

“I’ve built whimsy into the core of my community. Whimsy is the way I live and love – and it works,” Bowerman said.

“I’ve seen it benefit so many people. And I know it can give you a boost, too.”

Now, Bowerman is on a mission to send whimsy in the mail to others, in the form of colorful unicorn horns, capes and “Unicorn Missions” which allow people to earn badges they can wear on their capes. The Unicorn Scouts host Unicorn Mission Stations and other events, and are proud to offer a place where everyone fits in and no one ever gets too old to belong.

In order to help provide as many people as possible with a much-needed dose of fun and whimsy by mail, Bowerman recently launched a fundraiser on Kickstarter. There, she hopes to raise $10,000 through crowdfunding.

“We don’t care how old you are, what your gender is, who you love, how you look, where you live or what you believe,” Bowerman noted.
