Green PolkaDot Box Announces Plan to Limit Health Merchants to 2,000
MOUNT PLEASANT, UT / ACCESSWIRE / April 23, 2015 / Green PolkaDot Box (PINKSHEETS:GPDB) America’s premier online buying collective for organic and non-GMO natural foods at wholesale pricing. Announced today, a decision to Limit the number of Health Merchants in 2015 to 2,000 this limitation will insure GPDB has the service infrastructure, distribution facilities and inventory supplies in place before further increasing the Health Merchant Program. Based on early response and participation from Moms Across America and given our marketing plans for a national Health Merchant “Commitment” Tour in May, the company expects to hit our goal of 2,000 Health Merchants by the end of July.
CEO Rod Smith issued the following announcement, “The Health Merchant agreement with Moms Across America announced earlier this week is a foreshadowing of things to come. I believe that our efforts will attract many individuals and organizations; will unite their missions with GPDB to join the growing CLEAN food revolution. The Health Merchant program offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity for “influencers” to provide their followers, constituents, customers and patients with affordable access to CLEAN foods and create a recurring revenue stream to support their cause.”
“As I have thought about this eventuality and its impact on our company, I came to the conclusion that the public might be interested to understand what it means to have 2,000 Health Merchants in the GPDB buying collective,” stated Rod Smith, C.E.O. “2,000 Health Merchants, each having 100 customers by March 1, 2016, each spending an average of $150 monthly, means that GPDB revenues could increase sharply to more than $30 million, monthly. Again, that’s a projected total of at least 200,000 customers shopping and spending $30 million at the Health Merchants’ stores, collectively, on a monthly basis.”
The Impact of 2000 Health Merchants on GPDB’s Plan for Vertical Integration
It is easy to understand they the pricing for the clean foods we offer will fall sharply as Health Merchants increase customers and orders. The projection of $30 million in monthly sales would mean that inbound food shipments would be arriving at our distribution centers by the truckload instead of the case, driving unit costs down by as much as 20%. The sales volume would enable distribution centers in Utah, Tennessee and Texas, cutting down shipping distance and costs by as much as 50% while increasing speed of delivery to no more than two days. The net affect of this increase in sales could be a 20-25% price reduction across most food items we carry, not including discounts from special sales and promotions.
But the potential impact is even greater as I’ve written about our plans to become vertically integrated by growing clean foods, starting with Living Produce(R). I come back to this point because when we achieve $30 million in monthly revenues through the efforts of 2,000 Health Merchants, each with 100 active, shopping customers, not only will our prices drop because of greater efficiency, larger orders and reductions in cost, we will also have a much higher market valuation; it will be easier to raise capital for investment to expand Living Produce Growing Centers and distribution, and acquire other agricultural properties.
Formula for Success
2000 Health Merchants and their customers is just the beginning we have found the formula for success; it is the establishment of our Health Merchant program. The public should be able to see how close we are moving closer to achieving our goal to becoming the largest buying collective in America for organic and non-GMO foods at affordable prices with free home delivery.
