Grey Matters International Offers Unique Approach To The Neuroscience Of Change

November 18, 2016 – – Grey Matters International Inc. a global neuroscience-based concierge services firm, has a unique approach to the neuroscience of change because they believe that the brain is actually wired in such a way that it is resistant to change. They point out that the human brain has an addiction to “being right” at all costs and therefore does not want to change. They add that majority of self-helpers, psychiatrists, and so on talk as if motivation and will are all that is needed to override these brain systems, but they believe that such is the wrong approach. Grey Matters’ counseling services take into account the self-protective systems of the brain.

Dr. Kevin Fleming from Grey Matters International Inc. says: “I have devoted the entirety of my career toward picking up where traditional mental health services such as, therapy, psychology, counseling, etc. seem to always leave off. I am entirely about creating a lasting, in-depth change on the part of each client.”

Dr. Fleming helps clients ‘get real’ on the truth around the neural backdrop of change. He helps his clients to understand the power of ‘trade off’, which enables them to reboot the brain’s self-protective systems. His mental health solutions are designed to create real change, improving people’s lives both in their professional and personal circles.

Grey Matters International aims to make sure that every approach they take to changing behavior is based on wisdom, and on an understanding that clients desperately need help. They wish to address the ‘half truths’ that exist in the world of psychology, such as the idea that change can only happen through emotional processing, that psychological enhancement requires medication and/or therapy, and that neuroscience is the future of everything.

“The truth is therapy, meds, and neuroscience have some applications to some people some of the time,” adds Dr. Fleming, “but given the brain’s error-based way of over-generalizing and not doing a great job of discerning ‘what merely makes sense from what is fully true’, people end up failing more often than not in their change efforts.”

Those interested in the wellness counseling approach of Grey Matters International are encouraged to contact Dr. Fleming as soon as possible.
