GrowUpSmart Offers Tutorial Video With Their Chess Board

November 16, 2016 – – GrowUpSmart, an educational toys and games company, wants to encourage more people to play the game of chess. To achieve this, they have released a new video course called “Learn How to Play Chess”. The tutorial video also comes included with the company’s chess boards, which are available through https://www.amazon.com/GrowUpSmart/pages/default?pageId=TO32TW2IP8615X4.

“Chess is a wonderful game and once you get the hang of the basic rules, it provides hours of entertainment,” says Martin Reinhold from GrowUpSmart. “Chess players are known to have better mathematical and logical thinking skills, which are important skills to develop in young people in particular. To make sure young people know how to get started with the game, we have created the ‘Learn How to Play Chess’ video and we’re happy to see that it has already been viewed many times.”

The new video course teaches chess beginners the basics of the game. These include how to set up the board, the movements of the different chess pieces, and some basic chess strategies. The course is also included as standard in all their Smart Tactics chess games. With the basics included in the video, people should be able to play a good initial game of chess. As they continue to play, they will also improve their overall abilities.

Numerous studies have demonstrated that playing chess is closely linked to intelligence. While those who take up the game later in life need to already have a significant baseline of intelligence, children who start to play younger can develop it. This has benefits in all of their achievements later on in life. As such, the game is entertaining, while a step away from the electronics that young people are so obsessed with today, and an opportunity to learn and grow.

“Playing games is something people have done since the beginning of time, and for good reason,” adds Martin Reinhold. “It is a way to have fun and spend time together, and also to develop important academic and life skills. We are very proud to be able to play a role in improving the standard of future generations.”
