HAPPY ANNIVERSARY: KidSnips Celebrates Two Decades as Industry Leader
OAKBROOK, IL / ACCESSWIRE / August 30, 2017 / It started with two moms searching for a great place to get their kids hair cut. 20 years later, that desire is being celebrated by a business born out of necessity and the hard work of two women.
KidSnips owners Jill Gordon and Kim Stolze have grown their 8 hair salons into a favorite place for parents to take their children of all ages to get their hair cut. During the twenty years as a leader in the industry, KidSnips has won numerous awards including, Chicago Parent Magazine’s Award for “Best Place to get you Kid Groomed” (2014), Hula Frog Most Loved Kids Salon (2015), People Love us on Yelp (2014, 2015 & 2017), and The Macaroni Kids “Golden Daisy Award” for Kids’ best Haircuts (2016).
Service to the community has always been a part of KidSnips since the first salon opened in August 1997. KidSnips regularly donates to Wigs for Kids, Locks of Love and Autism Speaks Foundation. It participates in the Pink Hair for Hope campaign which, in turn, donates its proceeds to the Sloan Kettering Hospital in New York for Breast Cancer Research. KidSnips continues to look for ways to support the Chicagoland area through charitable giving.
