HDS International Signs Key Executives

ST. LOUIS, MO / ACCESSWIRE / April 28, 2015 / HDS International Corp. (PINKSHEETS:HDSI), a technology development company, today announced that it has executed employment agreements with three key executives: Paul Rauner as Chief Executive, Galina Berkovich as Chief Operating Officer, and Bernard Mangold as Chief Technology Officer. Recently funded to bring technology licensed from SirenGPS to market, HDSI will begin selling SirenGPS emergency management, enhanced emergency calling and communication software in Missouri this Friday, May 1, 2015. In related news, HDS International CEO Rauner has indicated that the non-exclusive license to SirenGPS technology may be converted to an exclusive license in advance of schedule.

Rauner explains, “We have been making a lot of progress putting together the team and the initiatives that will be required scale up the business. With concurrent progress in financing the Company, we are ready to make the license to HDSI exclusive and then put in place an asset purchase agreement to allow HDSI to acquire the licensed technology in the near future.”

Now under contract with HDSI are the following executives:

Paul Rauner, Chief Executive: Paul is Chief Operating Officer for a social media compliance software company, and adjunct professor at Boston University School of Medicine, where he teaches Law and Ethics of Emergency Management. A lawyer and father of four, Paul has over 15 years of experience providing risk consulting and related services to large corporations, universities, hospitals and individuals. For eight years, Paul ran Rauner Risk Services, Inc., an insurance and consulting business he founded in 2005. He has acted as Insurance Agency General Counsel for NASDAQ and Assistant Legal Director for Aon Risk Services. Before that Paul was a practicing attorney representing Lloyds of London and other insurance companies in securities litigation and other matters. Paul earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Calvin College in 1992 and graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1997.

Galina Berkovich, Chief Operating Officer: A graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia, Galina has been an integral member of the SirenGPS team since the company’s inception in 2012. Responsible for operational and strategic planning, Galina’s business instincts, project-management acumen, and keen sense of SirenGPS next-generation emergency communication tools make her the perfect fit for the operations role.

Bernard Mangold, Chief Technology Officer: Bernard brings more than 20 years of experience in development and management of advanced research and development teams. Formerly CTO at Addion, he has worked at Microsoft Live Labs where he led a concept development team and developed a model for sustainable innovation and product incubation in the enterprise. Also at Microsoft, Bernard was Senior Director of Business Management for the Business Platform Division (products including SQL Server, SQL Azure, and AppFabric among others). Prior to Microsoft, Bernard was the Director of Research Engineering at Yahoo! Bernard holds a Ph.D. (D.I.C.) from Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine in London.
