The first book “God is Gay” is a scriptural analysis where the author goes into detail to disprove the idea that the bible is against homosexuality. The intention of the book is to become the “straight Christian’s guide to the gay issue”.

The premise of the book is to explore the scripture of the bible to prove that when God created humankind, he created all humans with love. Meaning he created every race and every sexual orientation as part of His master plan and loves them all.

Author C.S. Clement is a devout Christian who believes the idea that people should not judge one another, and this includes Sunday services where the pastor speaks about how being gay is against God and his teaching. Clement believes that any Christian who judges gays or anyone else is living in hypocrisy and his book uses detailed scriptural analysis to back up this belief.

“God is Gay” has received many positive accolades from critics and readers. One online review reads, “I [was] very impressed with not only the amount of research that the author has undertaken, but the vast inclusivity, which is essential due to the many different Bibles which are available and the many interpretations of said.”

“The Gay Bible” is the highly anticipated follow-up and intends to continue to shake up the beliefs of Christians towards the LBGTQ community.
