Houston Social Security Expert Has Live Workshops On April 14th And 16th

April 15, 2015 – – Houston, TX: Applying for Social Security is more complicated than most people think, and the Social Security Administration is not able to give people real advice on how to get the most benefit from their Social Security. Terry Elder, CFP, a Houston Social Security expert, is offering two free workshops on the 14th and 16th of April to help people make sure they know what they are doing.

Unfortunately, most people shortchange themselves and simply apply for Social Security at the earliest possible date. This can cost a married couple tens of thousands of dollars in lifetime benefits and often can exceed one hundred thousand dollars in benefits.

Terry Elder, a Certified Financial Planner and Certified Financial Educator in Houston is doing two free workshops to the public on how to maximize lifetime benefits from Social Security. Terry has helped many Houston area couples maximize their Social Security by using a computer generated analysis which zeroes in on the exact best strategy to provide the greatest lifetime income from Social Security.

“Most people get their information second hand and really don’t understand the many options that are available to them,” says Terry. “My workshops explain clearly what their options are and how to take advantage of the rules to maximize lifetime benefits.”

The workshops take place 6:30 PM, Tuesday April 14 and 6:30 PM Thursday, April 16 at the Tomball Community Library, which is located on the Lone Star campus in Tomball. Seating is limited so it is highly recommended to register as early as possible.
