As one of the many schools affected by the spread of COVID-19, Wesley Biblical School in Mississippi has chosen to focus on online classes and programs. The seminary school has canceled in-person classes but continues to offer online education to students.

Wesley Biblical School has a number of both certificates and graduate degrees available through online study. They offer seven certificates and nine graduate degrees, all of which are available online for safe and convenient study. Available certificates include Apologetics, Bible and Theology, Discipleship and Spiritual Directions, and more. Meanwhile, graduate degrees offered by the school include Master of Divinity, Doctor of Ministry (DMIN), and Master of Theology, plus further options.

Online study at Wesley Biblical School is administered through the school’s online platform, Populi, as well as Zoom web conferencing. Zoom conferencing allows students anywhere in the world to participate in the programs offered by WBS. Students who are engaged in ministry around the world can remain in their current environment while expanding their education and knowledge through online learning with the school. During the summer, as well as in January, campus courses are usually taught as one-week intensives, which also offer the opportunity to study via Zoom.

All students receive a student email address and a username for the Populi platform. They can use the WBS website to access Populi, as well as their email account. Populi is used as an online class platform but also for class registration, paying bills, accessing transcripts, and other necessary student admin tasks.

Although classes at Wesley Biblical School are usually offered as both in-class and online programs, the school has smoothly transitioned to online learning only. Having already offered online study, it was easy for WBS to start focusing on their online programs to allow both existing and new students to continue to study. Prospective students who are interested in the school’s online learning options can apply online or request more information if they want to know more about how studying with WBS can help them.
