Hiring at March 1-2 Career Fair in Idaho Falls with aim of bringing 21st century jobs and the global economy to Southeast Idaho; Co-Founder of Parsimony.com, software for Amazon Sellers, seeks qualified candidates

Parsimony.com, co-founded by Idahoan e-commerce pioneer Steve Simonson, will be recruiting for a variety of job roles in Southeast Idaho at this week’s Career Fair in Idaho Falls. Working with Parsimony’s President and co-founder, Michael Pinkowski, Simonson intends to give more Idahoans access to 21st century jobs and the global economy. Parsimony.com is a platform that enables Amazon Sellers to run their entire businesses through a centralized software interface.

Even though I am always traveling the world starting new businesses, this is my chance to give something back to the place I was born.” Simonson, who now lives in Seattle, still has family in the region.

The company plans to hire up to five employees initially, with an expectation of raising the employment to over 30 within the year. They have multiple openings, including Accounting Software Support as well as a Linux/AWS Systems Administrator, and Python/API Developer. Parsimony software automates all the key processes required to run a successful Amazon Seller business. It allows Amazon sellers to speed up and coordinate their many challenging business operations tasks in a single, easy-to-use software platform.

He was a finalist for the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Organizations he has led and founded have generated hundreds of millions of dollars in sales revenue. Pinkowski, an expert in the ecommerce industry since 1998, served as COO for iFLOOR, where he played a key role as they grew from startup to $50 million in sales.
