IndustryWeek’s Manufacturing & Technology Conference and Expo Announces MESA International’s Programming Additions for North America Conference, May 2018 in Raleigh, NC
Chandler, AZ, March 27, 2018 – IndustryWeek’s Manufacturing & Technology Conference and Expo (IW M&T) announced today that Manufacturing Enterprise Solutions Association (MESA) International has added additional content to offer even greater value to their annual North American Conference. The Conference will be held in conjunction with the IW’s M&T Conference and Expo May 8-10, in Raleigh, North Carolina.
MESA International’s conference program additions provide a number of impactful, value-added educational opportunities for attendees delivered by the world’s foremost authorities on Smart Manufacturing in a non-commercial environment. Round-table discussions will occur during the four-hour pre-conference workshop on May 8th, entitled “Seeking Common Ground for Smart Manufacturing” led by industry experts Conrad Leiva and Julie Fraser detailing a recent industry peer survey conducted jointly with IndustryWeek. Each discussion topic dives into common ground and controversy among Smart Manufacturing initiatives, priorities, and tactics. More information on the pre-conference workshop programming can be found here.
The selection of Smart Manufacturing Track speakers offers focused educational topics in five-sessions and represents both ends of the journey, as well as the complexities of stages along the way. The Smart Manufacturing sessions highlight real stories, from a global manufacturer with 100+ plants just beginning their journey to companies already transforming into a digital enterprise. Check out the session speakers here.
With the addition of the complimentary Fix Event consults, both MESA and M&T attendees can maximize their experience and, in most instances, receive answers and practical guidance toward solving their challenging issues upon return to their facility. Located on the expo floor adjacent to the AR/VR Hub, MESA will post Smart Manufacturing domain and subject matter experts free of charge to attendees, to enable a more personalized meeting experience to all who attend the conference.
MESA’s Fix Event meetings are open to all conference attendees to briefly explore their most challenging manufacturing issues, available resources, possible solutions, and even next steps. Meetings are private, sales-free zones with MESA International leaders possessing focused expertise in subjects which affect global manufacturing and technology decision-makers today. The Fix Event runs concurrently with posted exhibit hall hours enabling attendees the flexibility to meet with subject matter experts (SMEs) and plan them around conference sessions during the three-days of the conference, so they don’t have to miss anything the conference has to offer. Conference attendees are invited take advantage of 20-minute one-to-ones with domain experts located at the tables marked with Fix Event signage. Additional Fix Event details can be found here.
“The conversations around Smart Manufacturing are taking place during this conference,” said Mike Yost, President of MESA International, “and with these value-added programming additions, MESA will provide greater access to industry’s foremost thought leaders and practitioners.” “These multiple touchpoints are intended to draw attendees into discussions of the important issues they face today and provide manufacturing executives and decision-makers with varying methods of knowledge sharing around program implementation, business intelligence, future-state vision planning, emerging technologies, and real-world use cases,” stated Yost.
