Innovative Product LOCKem: Shoe Lacing System Hits the Markets

LOCKem: Shoe Lacing System ensures that consumers will never have to tie shoes again

LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / November 15, 2016 / Tu Do, the father of two children, is pleased to announce the launch of his new LOCKem: Shoe Lacing System. LOCKem works with existing shoelaces, allowing consumers to tighten or loosen their shoes while effectively keeping laces off of the ground. LOCKem is ideal for children who have not yet learned to tie their shoes, athletes and active people on the go.

To utilize the LOCKem shoe lacing system, the user simply weaves the shoelaces through the device and tightens them to fit to their personal liking. Shoelaces are just as easy to loosen with the LOCKem system, and they will stay tight and secure throughout the day. LOCKem devices come in three colors: black, white and clear to accommodate any type of shoelace.

Parents of children too young to tie shoes in particular will be interested in the LOCKem system – no velcro is necessary, and no parental guidance is needed to keep children safe and secure in their shoes.

LOCKem differs from other shoe lacing systems in that it works with existing shoelaces that were designed for the shoe. That means no bungee cords, velcro and no need to replace proper shoelaces with new ones not specifically made for the shoe.

LOCKem was conceived by a design engineer whose brother requested that he come up with a system to keep his children’s shoes tied. Tired of constantly monitoring his children, buying slipshod shoes with velcro and bending over to tie shoelaces, the inventor of LOCKem wanted to provide a product that would be both easy to use and would also safeguard little ones from tripping and falling.

During product testing, another target audience became evident: athletes and active people on the go. Thanks to LOCKem, these consumers will not have to interrupt sporting events, competitions, or any physical activity to tighten or loosen shoelaces.

To fund this exciting venture, the creator of LOCKem is using the crowdfunding site Kickstarter to raise capital. With the help of interested consumers and the support of the community, the LOCKem inventor hopes to make tying shoes a thing of the past for everyone.
