This year’s Black History Festival, themed “The Africa We Want in a Global Setup – Rebuilding Trans-Atlantic Trade Ties for Socio-economic and Cultural Advancement,” not only celebrated Black heritage but also underscored BIDEC INC’s role as a pivotal player in international advocacy. The event featured influential speakers and was attended by hundreds of delegates from around the globe, showcasing the organization’s extensive network and impact.
A Platform for Dialogue and Development
The festival facilitated discussions on trade, innovation, and cultural exchange between Africa and the Americas, with notable speeches from prominent figures including Michael B. Coleman, the 52nd Mayor of Columbus, Alex Dadey, Chairman of KGL Group, Africa, Dr. Jules Dadicus, Director General of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS), and Dr. Olivier Kamanzi, Chairman of the Africa Global Chamber of Commerce, Lefentse Nokaneng of Brand South Africa, and many others.
